Our Story

Three decades of personalised advice

Unicorp Partners Pty Ltd was founded by Dr Andrew Unterweger, who has been advising clients since 1988 and has been a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) since 1996. What began as a single adviser practice has grown into a trusted advisory firm working with senior executives, business owners, legal and medical professionals, retirees, and — increasingly — Australians living and working overseas.

We believe good advice starts with listening. Before we recommend any strategy, we take the time to understand your goals, your family situation, and what "financial security" actually means to you — whether that's a single piece of advice on superannuation, or a comprehensive plan covering income, assets, investments, insurance and estate planning.

As authorised representatives of AVALONfs (AFSL 437518), we operate under a licensing structure designed to give clients confidence that the advice they receive meets the compliance and professional standards required under Australian law.

Andrew founded Unicorp Partners with a simple goal: to give clients honest, personalised advice they can rely on for life. Over more than three decades, he has guided clients through every kind of market — and every kind of life event — from buying a first home to retiring comfortably overseas. Andrew also shares regular insights on his YouTube channel, covering property, super, investment and expat planning.
